Be social. Learn how to communicate and socialize with everyone, including your boss.
Build your resume. Supplement intern/work experience with extracurricular activities at school and in the community—study abroad or do a summer study program.
Keep in touch. Once you leave your job or internship, regularly update people on what you’re doing so you stay in the mind of prospective employers and those who can provide referrals.
